In 2005 Toby Purser founded the Orion Orchestra, developing it into London’s leading symphony orchestra for the most talented instrumentalists leaving music college. In April this year, he became their Principal Guest Conductor, ending his period as Artistic Director with an acclaimed performance of Beethoven Symphony No.9, joined by the London Philharmonic Choir.
